I just ran out of Vega One’s Nutritional Shake in mixed berry so I decided to switch it up and try the coconut almond flavor. Needless to say, it tastes amazing! Vega never seems to disappoint when it comes to quality.
I love experimenting in the kitchen when it comes to nutritional shakes/protein powders, and I was eager to see what I could come up with. I made the following smoothie this morning:
- 1 scoop Vega One Nutritional Shake in coconut almond (shop here: http://www.vitamindiscountcenter.com/Vega-One-Coconut-Almond-Nutritional-Shake-by-Vega--20-Servings_p_6191.html)
- 1 banana
- 1 tablespoon cacao powder (shop here: http://www.vitamindiscountcenter.com/Organic-Cacao-Powder-by-Navitas-Naturals--8-Ounces_p_6336.html)
- 1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter
- 1 ½ cups nut milk
Add all ingredients to a blender and process until smooth.
The coconut almond peanut butter smoothie is a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth while getting nutrients at the same time. It’s packed with protein, potassium and magnesium. The shake also contains 6 servings of greens per scoop.
